Superintendent for Commercial Construction at Calahan Construction
Denver, CO, USA
Compensation: $80,000 to $95,000 Annually
Employment Type: Full-Time
We are seeking a Construction Superintendent for commercial construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of construction projects from planning to implementation with the ability to take a vacant site to building completion
- Maintain a safe site environment
- Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors, equipment operation capabilities a plus
- Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
- Work with Project Manager to conduct OAC meetings
- Negotiate with subcontractors to receive reasonable bids and change orders
- Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
- OSHA-certified and safety-oriented
- Understand best building practices and quality control
- Maintain schedule and update weekly using Microsoft Project
- Digitally archive weekly construction activities
- Maintain construction drawings
Qualifications
- Three years of previous experience in commercial construction
- Strong leadership qualities and professionalism
- Strong negotiation skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Able to read and interpret Blueprints
- OSHA certified
- Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Teams proficiency
Pre Engineered Metal Building Erection and Welder at Calahan Construction Services
Denver, CO, USA
Compensation: $50,000 to $65,000 Annually
Employment Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities
- PEMB Steel Erection and Welding
- Other duties as assigned
- Additional skills are not required but would be a plus
Qualifications
- Knowledgeable in steel building erection and welding is a plus
- 3–5 years of previous experience in commercial construction
- Strong leadership qualities and professionalism
- Ability to work cooperatively with others
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Able to read and interpret blueprints
- Driver’s License and reliable means of transportation
- Ability to run equipment such as skid steer, forklift, and backhoe a plus
