That is how we built our reputation as a trusted construction company and full-service general contractor.
The History of Calahan Construction
Calahan Construction began in 1937 when our founder, Edgar Calahan, wasn’t able to serve his country in the Armed Forces because of health reasons. He used his construction skills to begin building homes in Colorado. We remained home building experts until moving into commercial construction in the 1980s.
Since then, we’ve provided the greater Denver area, Front Range, and Foothills with unmatched commercial construction, customer service, and craftsmanship. In 2003, ownership of Calahan Construction was transferred to Don and Richard Calahan, and the duo remains involved with every project.

We are large enough to handle any commercial project but take a small business approach to customer service. This means that from ownership down we are always available to give your project the attention it deserves. Our leadership team takes a hands-on approach to ensure we meet your building objectives.

Passing Down the Construction Tradition
The fourth generation of the Calahan family is now continuing the tradition of our family business. We grew up in the construction industry, giving us a lifetime of knowledge to build on. The Calahan family has done it all, from small office space remodels to sprawling new industrial facility construction. Our extensive experience is brought to every new build, remodel, addition, and tenant improvement.
